Glamour On The Red Carpet

The red carpet and awards season had it’s official kick off and boy were there so many drool worthy gowns. A lot of hits in my book and a few misses that I didn’t really care for. Here are 12 fab girls and their stand out looks. Jennifer Lopez is definitely a red carpet reliable and never misses. I love Lupita's grown out hair and her marvelous gown. Kerry Washington, wow! Love it! I cant get enough of Dakota Johnson's jaw dropping gown. Chrissy Teigen, that's how to support a hubby, fab! These girls never looked lovelier as they mostly served the metallic trend and statement earrings. A lovely evening indeed.

  1. Nice picks, Fashionista, but I didn't like Kerry Washington's and Lupita's gowns. I swear, Kerry's color-block gown looks like an homage to Naija tailors - never mind that it is Mary Katrantzou's. I've seen the style so many times in our Naija ethnic styles. My best of your picks were JLo's (I see a modern boubou flair) and Kate Hudson's (clean sculpted lines & tres figure appropriate). Reese Witherspoon's silver shimmering gown was gorgeous! There were no wow-worthy gowns in my opinion. Giuliana's may have wowed me, in a different color and worn by a curvaceous body - like Sofía Vergara. Don't get me started on those white gloves ;-)

    1. Lol, The Cheech! Thats so funny about Kerry's gown. It caught my eyes right away tho. But yes JLo's gown! You must have seen the back of it, boubou flair for real but so so fab. Leave it to her, she never disappoints. Jemima Kirke and Felicity Jones looked so fab too. Taylor Schilling's gown was a dream, especially the back. The bottom of Tina Fey's wasn't too shabby but you're right tho Boss Lady, there weren't too many gowns that wowed. Did you see? I majorly drooled over Jlo's. Love it, want it, lol. Salma Hayek is pretty, curvaceous and looked great. Sophia Vergara is one charming gal and would look great in anything. Those white gloves! Upcoming trend I say, ;), loved it, hopping on...
