Exactly one year ago today I hit ‘publish' and my first blog post went live. I birthed this baby. Out of my love for style and fashion. I’ve learned and I’m still learning. I've evolved and I’m still evolving. Most importantly I've made some truly awesome connections and great friends from all over the world. I’d visit Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, Paris, Zam and Zim (Zambezi and Zimbabwe), Bavaria/Germany, Czech Republic, Canada, London, Italy to name a few and feel confident that I have good friends to hang out with. 

 We’d probably interact like we’ve known ourselves for ages. We’d share our passion for fashion, style, food, travel and great products. We’d talk about fashion weeks, who was wearing what, classic brands, new labels, best cameras, finding great locations, makeup, street style and trends. We’d talk about the challenges and the benefits of what we do. We’d talk about blogger versus wordpress. And we’d probably take pictures 'cos that’s a big part of what we do. The fun will be unmatched. Blogging did that.

The amount of work that goes into each post is intense. It goes way beyond taking and posting pictures. Heck you can do that on your Facebook or Instagram page. A lot of thought and work go into each content that's pushed out. From writing good enough content that will hopefully attract and keep your readers, putting the looks together, photography (hoping the weather cooperates), finding a location to shoot (I’ve learned to always carry a good pair of shoes and a bag, you just never know when you'll need to hop out of your car and take a few shots, hehe), to promoting your blog on one million platforms to name a few. Little wonder some of us are full time bloggers. It really should be a full time job if you want to keep up with it. Honestly, it becomes the core of any and everything you do. Huge kudos to those of us holding down other jobs while doing this.

I applaud my fellow bloggers and style influencers. What we do is no walk in the park. Keep making your mark in fashion and in the world. Grandeur and success don’t come overnight but with all the hard work, the knowledge, the authority, the consistency, the resilience, the passion and the drive that you display, I see it looming in all of your horizons. You totally make it look easy. And for those that have already achieved it, I say keep the flag flying. Huge Kudos again! Stay unstoppable!

Thats my goal too. Be and stay unstoppable. Bigger and better. Inspire others as I am inspired. Not  necessarily 100k followers on Instagram by next month although that won't hurt, hehe. I saw a jump of 700 new followers in a 24hour period last week and I thought someone was playing games, hehe. And it wasn’t the week I was featured on Fashion Bomb Daily, Naija Girls Killing it or anywhere else. Just random. It adjusted the next day by the way, phew!

I thank my ever so fabulous readers for always coming back and sprinkling love, I am very appreciative of you. It’s been an amazing experience and I stay very grateful to you all.
