It was another busy week. My poor kitty Azul went outdoors, got in a cat fight and was badly injured. So as you can imagine we've been in and out of the vet's office. He has a cast on his left arm and an E-collar around his neck. Honestly he just looks miserable. And his misery is almost contagious. My older kids are away but are constantly on face time with him. Hopefully the cast comes off soon and he is 100% again. Poor thing, :(.

Anyways, timeless styling and a classic red color lend an air of elegance to this great skirt suit, the perfect pulled together look for a gal in a hurry. Add some great shoes, minimal jewelry, a pair of dark sunnies, some stylish tights and you’re out the door in a flash. 

I discovered this impeccably tailored chic suit while cleaning out my closet. It has the perfect cut for shape and definition. The red and gold buttons add a touch of fun and speak to the age of it while the cut makes it ideal for pairing with skinny jeans or a killer pencil skirt. This piece is very chic, yet practical, making it perfect for daytime. I think it’s truly a testament to the ‘power chic’ of the 80’s jet set.

I love the mini, curve hugging not so matching skirt. Perfect length for the nude top of the super sexy tights to be in full view. A pair of ankle boots with a pop of print completed the look while a fox fur stole added interest.
