So I was carded today when I stopped at the store to pick up some wine. Whaaattt!!! I thought it was super funny and a joke. But he insisted and I showed my id. The whole time I was thinking dude, I’m old enough to be your mom, don’t be fooled by the lipstick. Hehe. Like my good friend said, it’s a great problem to have. But what if you don’t have your id on you?

This past week was crazy busy. Getting ready for ‘Open House’ at school. A math lesson study/ being observed. I feel like I was run over by a truck. It's honestly been nonstop long and busy days, oh to be a teacher! On the bright side, there’s only 10 days of school left and it’s Hello Summer Vacation. Hello sleeping in. Hello traveling the world. Hello having nothing to do. Until the end of August.

This outfit takes a classic 3 piece suit up a notch with the deep pleats on the skirt and a jacket I describe as a Batman cape because of how luxurious it is and how it looks opened up. The silk buttoned up shirt is actually a bodysuit that ends in a gorgeous dainty purple lace bottom that unfortunately I can’t show, hehe. Power suit for sure. Perfect for that business meeting and most definitely an evening out. Boardroom meets street.  

 You know I was drawn to it like a magnet. The best part is that it’s purple. The color of my life. Isn’t there a quote that says "if it’s purple, I usually buy it". Yes I do.
