Hello style lovers, it’s been another fleeting week. How was yours? My friend Juaneta and I went to see comedian Shawn Wayans with some other good friends. It was a rib cracking laughter filled night. I just got home at 1am and realized I didn't schedule this post to go live at midnight. My bad.

I’m looking forward to next week. My twins, my first born babies have a birthday coming up on Tuesday the 6th at 7:36 p.m and 7:37 p.m respectively. It seems like yesterday when we gave them a big Super Sweet 16 bash, each twin inviting eight friends for an all expense paid four day trip to the Wynn Las Vegas. Phenomenal outing, great fun. 

Anyways fashion month and all it's buzz and hype, from NYC to Paris is almost over. Today I'm sharing my street style look to one of the shows. It features a black tank top, black wide leg pants and a longline vest. Icing on the cake was the statement jewelry. If you've been reading FI, then you probably know about my love affair with statement jewelry. I’m such a sucker for them shame on me. While I love them all, a particular brand has stolen my heart. Honestly I’m not complaining. They can keep my heart forever and always, hehe.

Today I’m showing another glam piece from Takai By Angela that will totally steal the night, any night. As I stated above, I styled this piece with a black tank top, black wide leg pants and a longline camel vest for a more casual look. I added the trending print top-knot head wrap to the mix and finished off the look with mirrored sunnies and a bag in contrasting colors. A whole different look for me but the wrap added interest and honestly much as I struggled with keeping it on and retied it probablay about 100x, I loved it so and can’t wait to do it again. Fashion truly has no rules. I could have also styled it with distressed denim and a shirt. I might have been pleasantly surprised at how cool it’d look. Now that I say that, I can’t wait to do it, :))).
