Ruffle Envy

These ultra girly and very elaborate lacy frills that decorate the sleeves and cascade down the length of this jumpsuit are a definition  of femininity.

 A sartorial symbol of delicate womanhood, ruffles date back to the fifties and I’ve been obsessed with this throwback fashion trend lately. They are featured in skirts, tops, shoes and bags. Remember these looks here, here, here? I’m truly obsessed! If you’re like me then you must be enjoying this comeback as well. 

Hi guys! It’s been a hot minute huh? Y’all know my day job is teaching and when school gets back in session, its very challenging to juggle all the feathers I wear effectively. But I’ve missed everyone and I’m positive I was missed too. The break was great though, Ha!

I didn’t do a lot of traveling over the Summer unlike in Summers past but I did turn up the volume in cascading ruffles at my college reunion in San Diego. It's one of the outfits I wore to dinner at the weekend long reunion.
