I have a very very bad habit of not deleting emails. There are currently over 100k emails awaiting action in my inbox. I tried to get to them all which felt like a another job by itself. And don’t I already hold down two jobs? My teaching job (which by the way I adore) that has been very hectic lately and writing Fashionably Idu of course. I literally hit the ground running every morning and it’s nonstop until bedtime. Anyhow...

"If you’re not cybering what are you doing”?
...as I deleted mails, I saw this, the caption of a mail from Revolve on Cyber Monday. It made me laugh. Still laughing at the thought of it. I did not cyber btw so I'm playing catchup. You?

Invites to soirees and parties are finding their way into our mailboxes like I mentioned here. Some perched on the refrigerator door as a reminder of rsvp deadlines not to be missed. Others we’re sure are no no’s and the invites don’t make it anywhere near the refrigerator. Planning your outfits is obviously key if you want to be the belle of the ball. And if you don’t, then feel free to throw on any thing you find in you closet on the day of.
Like I kinda sorta did here.

Much as I adore midi skirts and was squealing with delight when I came upon this runway piece at the MaxAzria store in SF, there was just one notable little problem with it. It was almost falling off my waist when I tried it on. A total shame considering this was the smallest size in the store. I got it anyhow. My dry cleaner worked her magic on it and voila. If you love it and are not a size zero which I’m NOT even though I’ve been told I look like it (perhaps they were looking at the legs, focus on the clothes pretty please. IJS) then I highly recommend it especially it you’re a die hard lover of midi skirts. If you find one that is, :).

I paired it with a lace up long sleeves top but the chill was real so I threw on a turtle neck top for a much needed extra layer of warmth. The lace up top sleeves played peek a boo from time to time. Some pulling and tugging on the outer layer was all it took to take care of that pesky problem.

I love boots and I know you do too, I mean who doesn’t? While knee highs and otks are perfect for this time of year, ankle boots worn with socks also get the job done. So I reached for a pair of sky high Alaia boots and wore them over a pair of tights and socks from forever 21.
Do you love to wear socks with boots? Or are you a Yeesy sock boots gal? I stuck with socks this time as stated and I think I still managed to look impeccably put together if I say so myself.
 Your thoughts?

On a side note, this post has quite a few shots of me sitting and I'm starting to think I should have titled it "Sitting'. Or 'Take Several Seats'. Or even 'Plant Your Butt on the Bench' , LOL.

By the way how is the Christmas shopping coming along? Taken advantage to the Neiman Marcus 20% your entire purchase using code FRIENDME yet? It ends tomorrow so do check it out if you haven't.
