Wearing separates is always fun as they give you ample styling opportunities. I love the bold pattern on this top and the bright colored floral pattern on the skirt that showed an endless stretch of legs. Full skirts are a timeless classic, always trendy and lend themselves to successful prints mixing. Pair your full skirt with a crop top for a light, airy and flirty feel.

Crop tops have definitely earned their place as a fashion staple, sticking around season after season. They come in different lengths. My top grazed the top of my skirt and was snug for a fit and flare flattering and waist accentuating effect. I had a black blazer over the top to ward off the chill and the long hair yet again to keep my neck and ears warm and toasty. Who needs a scarf when you’re wearing your hair long right? Lol, Xo..

Keep Calm And Print On

Have you ever wondered what really attracts you to an outfit? Is it the over the top style? The simplistic nature? The color/s? The texture? The brand? The details? It was the intriguing textures and asymmetrical details for me with these pieces.
Texture was a huge trend on the FW14 runways. A slew of upcoming designers as well as the most influential ones played with textures in such fun ways. From fur and tweed to suede and even embellishments, this not so new trend is here to stay and will make a stylish and intriguing addition to both your post 9-5 cocktail stop look and your spicy hot night time ensembles. Finish it off with sultry makeup a clutch and heels and you'll be unstoppable. Visual boredom? Nah!

This blazer with it's ribbed nubby appearance and an exaggerated collar that added depth to it, the skirt with the cascading pleat detail and visible luster, and the mock turtle neck top all had different textures yet worked well together - Texture Heaven! They had enough drama and zero competition from my accessories.
